Westminster Catawba Christian School invites applicants for the following positions:
Director of Admissions and Development (2012-2013 School Year)
The responsibility of the Director of Admissions and Development is to provide strategic leadership for all admission recruitment, retention, and marketing for the school. The director works closely with the Head of School and is responsible for the cultivation and securing of major gifts, donor and alumni relations, school-wide communications, and event planning. The candidate should display a commitment to Jesus Christ demonstrated in both professional and personal life, and a commitment to Christian education.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required; Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years proven marketing experience; exceptional communication skills; demonstrated project management skills; be a strong team player and active collaborator; have the ability to manage multiple initiatives; understand philosophy of Christian education, or nonprofit culture; and be familiar with current software, technologies, and practices including web and social media platforms.

Part Time Tutorial Study Hall Instructor (2012-2013 School Year)
The part time TSH instructor for high school and middle school students will have 3 class periods and 1 preparation period per day. Will be responsible for teaching students study skills; assisting students with oral testing and test taking; providing tutorial help on class subjects and homework; providing students with encouragement and support; collaborating with teachers to track grades, student progress and assignments; communicating with parents about student progress and concerns.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education preferred; Candidate must have the ability to multi task and stay organized; Must have strong communication skills.
