Head of SchoolRay Casey

Mr. Ray Casey is in his third year as Head of School at WCCS. Prior to this role, Ray held several leadership positions, most recently as Superintendent of Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, IN and previously, as Headmaster of Living Word Academy, in Lancaster, PA.  He is completing his Doctor of Ministry, ABD in Leadership and Renewal and currently holds an M.A. in Management, an M.A. in Biblical Studies, an M.A. in Public Policy and a B.S. in Business Administration.  Ray is the loving husband of Esther and the father of their eleven wonderful children.  Ray's assistant is Melissa Catoe.

 

 


Catawba Campus Principal, Grades 6th - 12thDave Baniszewski

Mr. Dave Baniszewski has been serving as the Catawba Campus Principal since July 2009.  Mr. Baniszewski is completing his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and currently holds an M.R.E. in Christian School Administration and a B.A. in English.  He has 30 years of experience in Christian school leadership, most recently as High School Principal of Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, IN.  Mr. Baniszewski and his wife, Heidi, have two grown children. Dave's assistant is Sheila Nichols.

 

 


Westminster Campus Principal, Pre-Kindergarten - 5th GradeSandi Jolly

Dr. Sandi Jolly and her family joined the WCCS community in 1990. Her career at WCCS began as a parent volunteer and teacher's assistant. She has also served WCCS as a pre-school teacher and director. In the summer of 2002, Sandi began serving as the Westminster Campus principal. Graduating from Columbia International University (CIU), she holds a Doctor of Education in Christian school leadership with an emphasis in curriculum, a Master of  Education in educational administration, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Bible/General Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Sandi and her husband, Clete, have three grown children who all graduated from WCCS. Sandi's assistant is Patty Limerick.
 


Business Operations ManagerBryan Martin

Mr. Bryan C. Martin and his family joined the WCCS community in the summer of 2003. Bryan previously served as an accounting manager for Kings Electronics Co., Inc. He graduated from Winthrop University with a B.S. in accounting and later with a M.B.A. with an accounting emphasis. Bryan has served as a deacon in Westminster Presbyterian Church and has enjoyed opportunities to teach high school students at WCCS. Bryan and his wife, Michele, have two children.  Bryan's assistant is Sharon Roddey.

 

 


Director of Admissions and DevelopmentLisa McCutchen

Mrs. Lisa McCutchen and her family joined the WCCS community in December of 2005. She serves as the Director of Admissions and Development at WCCS and has previous experience in development, marketing, and sales.  She is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Marketing. Her husband Bill is an assistant pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church. They have 3 boys who are all students at WCCS. Lisa's assistant is Jennifer Polston.
 

 

 

 


Athletic Director

Mr. Dan Devine joined WCCS in 2010 as the Athletic Director and head coach for the varsity football program. Dan is a graduate of Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry , New York where he majored in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Psychology. Currently, Dan is completing course work at Gardner Webb University to obtain his Masters of Education Administration. He began his career at Hopewell High School in Huntersville, North Carolina where he served as a special education teacher and was the assistant head coach/offensive coordinator for the varsity football team. During his tenure at Hopewell High School, Dan worked with numerous All-Conference and All-State players, helping more than a dozen student athletes land at Division I and Division II schools across the southeast. In 2008, Dan became the head varsity football coach at Hickory Grove Christian School and took his team to the semi-final round of the state playoffs. Dan also garnered the NCISAA Division II Coach of the Year award in 2008. Dan and his wife Maud currently live in Huntersville, NC. Dan's assistant is Karla Jollie.
 


STAR DirectorJoanna Swofford

Mrs. Joanna Swofford is our new STAR Director at WCCS. Joanna is a Clemson graduate with a BA in Special Education. She has experience working with students with varying exceptionalities and most recently taught at Finley Road Elementary. Prior to this, Joanna served as the Pre-School Director at West End Baptist Church. She has worked with students preschool through 12th grade and has a deep love for students with learning differences. Joanna is a visionary self-starter, with exceptional people skills. She is married to Adam and has three sons; Max (5th grade), Reese (3rd grade), and Weston (1st grade) that will be attending WCCS for the upcoming school year. Please join us in welcoming Joanna to our staff.
 


Fine Arts DirectorDebbie Pearce

Mrs. Debbie Pearce is our new Fine Arts Director at WCCS. Debbie has a BA in Art with a minor in Art Education from Salisbury University. She also has a Master of Arts in English Education, a Master of Library Science degree, and received her certification in Middle Grades Education at Appalachian State University. She has experience teaching visual arts on the elementary, middle school, and college level. Debbie also has training and experience working with academically gifted students in kindergarten through 8th grade.  She is a working artist and writer herself, and has a passion for all areas of the arts, including music, drama, creative writing, and visual art.  Debbie's goal is to encourage students to develop their creative gifts, helping them to reach their fullest potential.  In addition to directing our fine arts program, Debbie will also serve as the instructor of visual arts for our middle school and high school and be the SEEK instructor for gifted students on our elementary campus.  Debbie is the mother of 4 boys: Alan (violinist and student at the UNC School of the Arts), Aaron (Class of 2011 high school graduate), Brandon (rising 11th grader), and Jonathan (rising 8th grader). Debbie and her family will be moving to Rock Hill from Boone, NC. Please join us in welcoming Debbie Pearce to our staff.
 


Director of TechnologyJeff Lowder

Mr. Jeff Lowder came to WCCS in 2010 as the Director of Technology. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University and a native of the area.  He has extensive experience as a Director of Technology, working eight years as Information Technology Director of Carolina Handling in Charlotte, NC . Most recently, Jeff was with the York County Government as the Management Information Systems Director.  He has a son, Harrison that is a current student at WCCS. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball through the ROAR sports ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
