Students enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses at WCCS have the option to take the appropriate Advanced Placement test for that course(s). Currently, we offer the following Advanced Placement tests:
- Calculus AB
- English Literature and Composition
- English Language and Composition
- Human Geography
- Physics I and II
- Spanish Language and Culture
- United States History
- United States Government and Politics
Generally, the AP tests are given in May. The AP Coordinator works closely with AP teachers, parents, and students to ensure that all students are registered for the appropriate Advanced Placement tests. Parents will receive an information packet at the beginning of February, and they should review the information with their students. Parents will be notified of deadlines via the College & Career Calendar, email, and this portion of the website.
**Students taking an AP exam must be in the testing location at 7:50 am or 11:50 am respectively. Any student who is late will NOT be permitted to take the exam.**
