Middle school students are in a unique time of transition between their elementary years of childhood and high school years of adolescence. To make the most of this time, we continue to offer a strong academic program from a Christ-centered perspective. It is our goal for middle school to be a time for students to thrive in a nurturing community of teachers who care deeply for the individual success of each child. Middle school students are encouraged to explore the talents and interests God has given them through the selection of a variety of enrichment activities while learning how to glorify Him as they grow and develop. Our curriculum includes math, language arts and writing skills, social studies, science, and Bible. It is supplemented by elective opportunities in foreign language, fine arts, study skills, physical education, health, and computer science.
WCCS high school students are challenged with a high level of academic expectation in a college-prep setting that prepares them to live out their God-given callings now and in the future. Students are taught to think critically, communicate clearly, work collaboratively and reflect creatively- allowing them to further formulate their Biblical worldviews so that they will bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ. In addition to academic studies, students also learn through service programs, leadership opportunities, athletics and fine arts.
Our faculty and staff are committed to mentoring our students from a Biblical perspective as they discover God’s individual purposes for their lives. They are also equipped with the tools necessary to excel now and beyond graduation.
Westminster Catawba Christian School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
