Meet the Staff

Ms. Renee Comer, Media Services Director

Ms. Comer is responsible for the instruction of information literacy skills to grades 4 through 12.  Additionally, she is responsible for the collection development and management of the entire media program for the Westminster and Catawba campuses. Ms. Comer is a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. She is currently working towards a Masters degree in Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina . In addition, she has three years of teaching experience and seven years of public library experience.   Ms. Comer enjoys children of all ages and is enthusiastic about sharing her love of literature. Mrs. Ragena Farrar, Media Specialist

Mrs. Farrar is responsible for teaching information literacy skills to PK-3^rd Graders at the Westminster Campus Library Media Center.  A graduate of Winthrop University, Mrs. Farrar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Reading.  She also has completed post-graduate work through at University of South Carolina in the areas of literacy and technology.  The 2005-2006 school year marks Mrs. Farrar’s 15^th year as a teacher, during which time she has taught Preschoolers through 12^th Grade Advanced Placement English students.  Mrs. Farrar enjoys the blessing of teaching and loves sharing her excitement about books and reading with her students.  Please feel free to contact her by e-mail at jfarrar@comporium.net or by phone at 366-1810.
