Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ

Help Us Cross the Finish Line!

April 30, 2018
By Baxter Morgan

Did you know that lunchtime on April 25th marked the point where tuition dollars stopped covering the cost of education at Westminster Catawba Christian School? That's right, tuition only covers 88% of the total costs to educate a student here at WCCS. If we relied on tuition dollars alone, school would have ended last week. Thankfully, through the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide the complete, Christ-centered educational experience our students receive!

WHO GIVES MONEY TO WCCS?

The many folks who believe in and support WCCS! Parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, alumni parents, and many more community members make up the pool of donors that graciously give to support the mission of educating students in order to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ. WCCS even has corporations and foundations investing in Christian education.

HERE ARE THE NUMBERS

We recently received $30,000 lead gift from an anonymous donor to inspire others to give. Join us in crossing the finish line and meeting our $200,000 goal by giving to the 17-18 Annual Fund today!

TODAY WE SAY, "THANK YOU!"

While we take this time to bring awareness to families that only 88% of tuition covers the total cost, we also want to express our gratitude to our donors that assist us in making up the difference. We want to celebrate these individuals and their generosity. Thank you for impacting students and for your investment in Christian education!

HEAR FROM OUR STUDENTS

"I'm so thankful for the opportunities that have been provided for me and my classmates to invest in our futures. We have the chance at WCCS to explore and thrive in our gifts and talents while strengthening our weakness intellectually and spiritually. Our WCCS donors give us the funds to explore our futures and chase our passions."

"I am thankful for my first year at WCCS. I was able to play baseball this year, and I look forward to my second year at WCCS."

"Thank you for making my education possible!"

"I have attended WCCS for 13 years and have enjoyed every bit. Every day I am pushed to be the best I can be and honor God while doing so. I have made friends that last a lifetime and connections with teachers I will never forget. I am so grateful for this school and those who help make it possible."

"I'm thankful for a private education and having an opportunity to learn in a Christian environment. I have enjoyed being a part of this Christian community."

"With this being my 5th year at WCCS, I have loved every day. Thank you so much for what you give to this school, which allows us to show our talents in and out of the classroom. The help given from the donors makes the learning experience we thrive for possible!"
