Lora Holladay is married to Jack, and together they have one son, Spencer, who attends WCCS. She is the Community Investment Director for the United Way of York County, S.C. She also serves as the Executive Director of the long range plan to address homelessness in York County; Pathways to Housing. She began her career over a decade ago and has worked with many non-profit boards and development committees. She now works as a Strategic Planning Consultant to build the capacity of local non-profit organizations. She and her family are members of St.John's United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing, and golf.
Bryan Porter is married to Jan, and has 2 daughters at WCCS, Grace and Abigail. In addition, their daughter Danae is a WCCS alum. Bryan works at Bank of America as Director of Cash and Derivatives Technology managing a large software development group. The Porter’s attend Providence Road Church of Christ in Charlotte.
Dr. Susan Start is a long-term WCCS parent and member of WPC. She and her husband, Robert Start, have been part of the school community since 1999 when their son, Ethan, started preschool. Ethan graduated from WCCS in 2014 and their daughter, Natalie is in high school at WCCS. Susan loves children and has enjoyed practicing pediatrics for over 2 decades. She currently volunteers with the Family Resource Center clinics for the uninsured children of York County.
Paul Basha is married to Sarah, and has 3 children who graduated from WCCS- Luke (2011), Robert (2015), and Hannah (2017). They are what we call “Lifers”, having attended WCCS from 5K-12th grade. Paul is the CEO of York Electric Cooperative. The Bashas have attended Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 25 years.
Steve Kane and wife, Mary, have 5 children – all attended WCCS (1995 – 2009). Steve is President of PharmaOne Search – an executive search firm specializing in the pharmaceutical/biotech industries. Mary is an Registered Nurse in Rock Hill. They also have 2 grandchildren! Steve served for approximately 12 years as a past WCCS Board member. He is an elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church. An avid outdoors kind of guy, Steve enjoys golf, running, college football, travel, and family activities.
Josh Reinhardt is married to Lauren. Josh is himself a WCCS graduate, and he and Lauren have three children all of whom attend WCCS. In his professional life, Josh is the Development Services Manager for the York County Planning and Development Department. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, and is a life-long avid Clemson fan. Josh and his family are active members of St. John’s United Methodist Church here in Rock Hill.
Kay Robinson is married to John. John and Kay are both charter members of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was one of the first teachers at Westminster Christian School, teaching at WCCS for twenty five years before retiring to spend more time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She has a grandson attending WCCS in the fourth grade. Kay enjoys travel and attending her ten grandchildren's programs and ballgames.
Kristen Davis Rhyne is the Executive Director of the Westminster Foundation. Having been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church since 1978, she was a part of the establishment of Westminster Christian School where all her children attended and she was privileged to serve as Administrator. Today she has three grandchildren at WCCS and is very thankful for their Christian education. Other areas of community involvement include serving as a Board member of Keystone Substance Abuse Services and involved with Renew Our Community (ROC). Kristen retired in 2014 as a Certified Financial Planner® at Founders Federal Credit Union before accepting her current position. Her passions are spending time with family and sharing time, talent, and treasure to advance the Kingdom.
Rev. Chris Florence is married to Suzy. Their daughter, Bailey, is a 9th grader at WCCS. Chris is the Senior Associate Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church and has more than 20 years of experience as a professional counselor, educator, and pastor having served in pastorates in South Dakota, Maryland, and Augusta, Georgia. Prior to joining the pastoral staff at Westminster Presbyterian, Chris served as the Vice President of Academic Administration and Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Covenant Seminary. Chris has a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University, a M.S.S.W. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a M.Div. degree from Covenant Theological Seminary, and is a PhD student at St. Louis University. Chris enjoys watching baseball, grilling, kayaking, and fishing.
