Our mission at WCCS is “Educating students to bless our world as disciples of Jesus Christ.” How do you believe your time here at WCCS has prepared you for God’s unique purpose for your life? What are your future plans beyond college? I believe my time here at WCCS has helped me not only grow stronger in my faith, but learn how to defend and share my faith. In the future, I believe it will be easy to share my faith with patients because of my time here. Beyond college, I plan to work in a pediatric hospital, hopefully live in South Carolina, and have a family of my own!

If your time here at WCCS were a story, what would be the running theme? The theme would be community. There is definitely a family feel at WCCS. Everyone knows each other, and I love that. It is a great, unique quality of this school.

How has learning in a Christian environment positively affected your education? Learning in a Christian environment has been a huge blessing because of the different perspective that is brought to the table. At WCCS, you can always look at worldly events with a Christian perspective.

What is your best memory from your time at WCCS? My best memory from WCCS would have to be the senior retreat. The senior retreat was a time where the whole senior class came together and shared their best memories from our time here. It was a great bonding time for the whole class.

Has there been a teacher at WCCS that has impacted your faith, education or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what would you say? The teacher that has had a great impact on my life, and especially my faith, would be Mr. Cooke. If I were to say thank you to Mr. Cooke, I would thank him for his time and dedication to all the students at WCCS. It is clear that he really cares about every student. On the senior retreat, during the bus rides there, we had hour long conversations about God and life in general. He cares about the personal relationship each student has with the Lord.
